Filmpool Nord’s films get noticed
Each film co-produced and funded by Filmpool Nord has a preview or première showing in Norrbotten County. Many of the feature films are later distributed to cinemas by the major film distributors. The films of producers and directors are distributed to both Swedish and international film festivals. Filmpool Nord can provide tips and suggestions on festivals based on our established collaboration with many festivals in Norrbotten County, Sweden and abroad. In addition, Filmpool Nord often takes part in various film functions, where we use the opportunity to show our films.
Roadmovie 2009 is a project where tailor-made thematic film packages are shown in collaboration with the local cinemas in Norrbotten County. Read more about the project.
Filmpool Nord has recently started collaboration with Folkets bio in Luleå, whereby a short film co-produced by Filmpool Nord will be screened before every main feature film. The film programme of Folkets bio can be found on their website, www.folketsbiolulea.se
